4 Ways riteSOFT Gives Back to its Community

riteSOFT solves more than warehouse management pains.

1. Youth Robotics

For the past 9 years, Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association has held an annual charity golf event, raising thousands of dollars for all sorts of organizations to help support everything from robotics to youth manufacturing programs. Last year was no different, and riteSOFT was right there with them. By sponsoring Hole 5 for the event, they helped raise funds towards scholarships for the youth robotics program in Central Minnesota.

riteSOFT gave back to its own local community, and in the process helped enhance the future for many robotics students. This technologically minded venture helped arm students with knowledge and experience that not only supported future jobs, but an economy rapidly heading into a virtual future.

2. Youth Programs

On June 8, 2021, riteSOFT returned to sponsor yet another hole for the Central Minnesota Manufacturers Association (CMMA). The 9th annual Charity Golf Event was an even greater success than the last one, exceeding its goal of $15,000 for a different worthy cause: career awareness and youth manufacturing programs in Central Minnesota.

Both the USA and Canada are still recovering from the economic crisis caused by COVID-19 global pandemic which resulted in massive layoffs and business closures. Students graduating in the middle of the crisis not only found it difficult to find a job, but entered employment at a time when in-person work threatened (and still threatens, thanks to the Delta variant) their wellbeing.

This is why riteSOFT's involvement in career awareness and youth manufacturing is so pivotal. It's not just raising money for their local community, it's raising money for youth that so desperately need a leg up in this struggling time.

With the Golf Social described as a "hole-in-one" success, it's safe to say that riteSOFT helped empower the next generation for a better future.

3. Paperless Office

Preparing for the future doesn't stop at arming the youth that will be navigating it. Making the world a little greener one step at a time also goes a long way, and this is one of the many reasons that riteSOFT recommends a paperless operation for the office, warehouse, and shop floor.

Having a paperless operation brings with it many benefits, including money saving measures, reduced errors, less wasted time, lower warehousing costs, plus improved inventory visibility. riteSOFT's warehouse management—riteSCAN—works seamlessly with the SYSPRO ERP system to give the front office and back office real time information to drive higher customer satisfaction and a better bottom line. Not only that, you can eliminate the paper time sheets with riteSOFT's time tracking software, riteTIME.

Skip the frustrating search for missing paperwork, go paperless, improve efficiency, and help the environment at the same time.

4. Adopt a Highway Program

Life isn't all fun and games for the riteSOFT team, but with the way they handle each of their non-profit events, it's easy to believe otherwise. Their 6th annual ditch cleanup through the Minnesota Department of Transportation's Adopt a Highway program was as fun as it was productive. Comparing unique items of trash as a competition helped pass the time, leading to 14 employees picking up a whopping total of 62 bags of trash in only three hours.

Like their other sponsored endeavors with the CMMA golf social, riteSOFT believes that protecting their future through highway cleanup is one of the best ways to create a better tomorrow. They've adopted a two-mile strip in Waite Park, Minnesota since 2015 as a method of positively impacting their local environment and reducing their ecological footprint.

riteSOFT's volunteer work doesn't end at participating in the Adopt a Highway Program or in the Golf Social. riteSOFT has fostered a philosophy in their team of using volunteer work to get closer as a team while simultaneously helping the community.

Their company provides employees with an hour per month of paid volunteer time off at the non-profit organization of their choice, such as Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Minnesota, Friends of the Library, respite foster care, local churches, and food shelves. Every year, riteSOFT's employees donate hundreds of volunteer hours. riteSOFT's volunteer attitude benefits the community, the company, and the world they're building for tomorrow.

riteSOFT's team builds warehouse management and time tracking software like they build up their community—one step at a time.
