1. We are a paperless office: We store all of our documents and business forms electronically, committing them to paper only when absolutely necessary. We make sure to deliver all of our key business documents electronically reducing the amount of paper and electricity needed to print and store.
2. We are energy efficient: We make sure to choose energy efficient hardware such as printers that consume lower amounts of electricity. We also have automated thermostats installed in our offices to lower heating and air conditioning systems when the facilities are empty.
3. We allow employees to work from home: At Phoenix Systems, employees have the option to work from home offices reducing the dependency on and usage of automobiles on a daily basis. Additionally, remote support and training aids are used to reduce travel to and from client sites.
4. We use video conferencing: All Phoenix Systems offices are equipped with HD video conferencing systems. This helps to reduce the overall carbon footprint of the company as it completely eliminates the need for air travel. We can hold important meetings over video conferencing just as well—if not better—than if we were in the same room with the other person. This ultimately lowers our use of fossil fuels from air travel—and saves money!
